On 2nd January, CAS Hefei Gasification Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ZHGAS) convened the 2023 Annual Review & Commendation Ceremony with Spring Festival Gathering. The event comprehensively reviewed the company’s yearly achievements, honored outstanding teams and individuals, and outlined development visions for 2024.
Deputy General Manager Yang Shaojun presented an overview of the company’s annual R&D and business operations. In 2023, ZHGAS collectively achieved beyond its annual targets in contract signing value, core revenue, and sales proceeds collection. Significant accomplishments were also made in new product development, patent applications, award nominations, and external communications. The year 2024 promises broader opportunities for the company’s business development, R&D, and corporate branding initiatives. It is anticipated that the entire team, united in commitment to a shared vision, will attain new developmental milestones.
Deputy Chief Engineer Xu Sheng summarized the company’s progress in design and audit management. This year, the Design Department executed design work for 12 engineering projects and developed design schemes for nearly 100 projects, marking an unprecedented workload. The team’s collaborative capacity and design proficiency have significantly improved. In audit management, the timeliness and accuracy of bid cost accounting and tender quotation preparation for engineering projects have been consistently enhanced. A comprehensive cost process control mechanism has been established across design, procurement, and construction phases, strengthening the company’s competitiveness during bidding and profitability during project execution.
Deputy General Manager Meng Guangjun detailed the company’s engineering and production performance in 2023. Throughout the year, ZHGAS executed 10 engineering projects—the highest number of concurrent projects since the company’s inception. Notably, three projects—Xinjiang Zhuntan, Guangxi Longzhou, and Shandong Luyu—achieved commercial operation within the same year of contract signing. The Shandong Luyu project set a company record by completing gasifier commissioning from structural installation to syngas supply in just 109 days. The Production Department saw steady growth in annual output value, with substantial improvements in integrated production capacity and refined management capabilities. Additionally, ZHGAS established a multi-business operation/maintenance model, cultivating new profit growth drivers through projects such as the Zigui sludge carbonization operation contract and the Linzhou Fengbao gasification station operation.
During the conference, senior management publicly commended teams and individuals who made outstanding contributions in 2023. Award recipients were encouraged to cherish their honors and build on their achievements, maintaining their proactive and innovative spirit while setting an exemplary role. All employees were advocated to learn from these exemplary models, embodying pragmatism and efficiency to contribute to the company’s collective strength.
General Manager Yu Kuangshi acknowledged the company’s steady and upward business performance in his concluding remarks. He emphasized that ZHGAS is advancing on the right trajectory, urging the organization to sustain its vitality, uphold ambitious aspirations, and pursue long-term goals with a spirit of "daring to dream, daring to act, and unwavering perseverance." Key strategies include strengthening collaborations with universities and research institutes to diversify business development directions; benchmarking against industry leaders to optimize management frameworks and operational mechanisms, fostering a conducive work environment for shared enterprise-employee growth; and expanding career advancement channels while empowering talent development through systematic training and mentorship programs.
During the New Year Greeting Gala following the summary meeting, a series of spectacular performances unfolded in succession, elevating the atmosphere to new heights. Entertainment segments such as the lucky draw and interactive games further ignited the festive spirit, keeping the venue buzzing with excitement.
In 2024, ZHGAS will stay true to its founding mission, further propel the industrialization of scientific achievements, expand business domains, pioneer innovative operational models, ride the momentum to hone its innovative edge, and write a new chapter of high-quality development with heightened passion and forward-looking vision!
