

Gasification Business Achieves New Milestones
Throughout the year, contracts were signed for eight CGAS circulating fluidized bed coal gasification projects, including Xiangjiang Wanji, Shandong Weiqiao, Inner Mongolia Qinghua, Inner Mongolia Kanghong, and Jining Qingying, totaling 15 gasifiers—a record high in the company’s history.

The business successfully entered the Indian market, marking the first contract with a local overseas owner and achieving a key step toward directly serving the international market.
With a breakthrough single-unit capacity of 90,000 Nm3/h, the company continues to lead the way in expanding circulating fluidized bed gasifier capacity to new heights.
In the Indonesian Xiangsheng circulating fluidized bed gasification project, Gasifier No. 3 was shut down for maintenance on June 1. From its commissioning on March 9, 2021, until this shutdown, the gasifier ran continuously and stably for 1,545 days, setting a new benchmark for the industrial application of CGAS circulating fluidized bed gasification technology.

Environmental Business Continues to Thrive
The company signed a contract to build the Shandong Xinke Carbon-Based Solid Waste Comprehensive Utilization Project. Once commissioned, the project will use the heat from gasification fine slag combustion to produce high-temperature, high-pressure steam, effectively achieving clean, efficient, and tiered utilization of coal.

The Nanyang Wastewater Treatment Plant Sludge Disposal Project was successfully commissioned. Through the supporting high-pressure sludge filter press system, the project significantly reduces sludge treatment costs and achieves a revolutionary breakthrough in sludge carbonization.

The company won the bid again for the Zigui Wastewater Treatment Plant Sludge Carbonization Commissioned Operation Project. Since 2022, the company has consecutively won three bids, with its operation and management capabilities highly recognized by the client.
Additionally, the company signed a contract to construct the gas production system indirect cooling upgrade project for Shanxi Fengxi Huarui Coal Chemical Co., Ltd.
The company signed contracts for the Tianying Petrochemical Ethylene Glycol Unit Upgrade Project and the Gansu Yinguang Photochemical Industry Raw Material Supporting Water Gas Generator Energy-Saving and Carbon-Reduction Upgrade Project, officially extending its business into full-chain EPC services for the chemical industry. This marks the company’s capability to provide integrated solutions covering the entire process from design and procurement to construction for chemical sector clients.

Biomass Business Achieves Engineering Breakthrough
The company participated in the construction of China’s first large-scale bio-methanol project—the “50,000 t/y Green Methanol Demonstration Project”, which has officially commenced operation. ZHGAS was responsible for the entire biomass gasification island, covering process package development, engineering research, process system integration, engineering design, proprietary gasifier equipment development, process equipment supply and integration, on-site technical services, and operational guidance.

The company also signed contracts to participate in the Baowu Group Environmental Resources Technology Demonstration Project for Low-Carbon Co-Utilization of Steel Dust/Sludge and Organic Solid Waste.

Activated Carbon Business Successfully Commissioned
The coal-to-activated carbon and carbonization tail-gas co-production LNG project of the subsidiary Xinjiang Zhongke Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has been officially commissioned, establishing a comprehensive activated carbon business layout and product portfolio.

New Achievements in Qualifications and Honors
The company has once again been recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise. Following its initial certification in 2019 and re-certification in 2022, this marks the third time the company has received this national-level honor for technological innovation.

Successfully passed the three management system certifications (quality, environmental, and occupational health & safety) once again.

Technical Capabilities Widely Recognized
The CGAS Circulating Fluidized Bed Coal Gasification Technology was selected for the “First Batch of Advanced and Applicable Technologies List” issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). This follows its inclusion in the “National Energy-Saving and Carbon-Reduction Technology and Equipment Recommendation Catalogue for the Industrial and Information Technology Sector” in 2024, marking another recognition by MIIT.

The industrial-scale application of circulating fluidized bed coal gasification technology was included in the “2025 Proposed List for Ecological and Environmental Science and Technology Achievement Transformation” of the National Integrated Service Platform for Ecological and Environmental Science and Technology Achievement Transformation.

In addition, the “Multi-Feedstock-Compatible Circulating Fluidized Bed Coal Gasification Technology for Industrial Fuel Gas”, jointly developed with the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, successfully passed scientific and technological achievement evaluation, with the overall technology reaching an internationally leading level.

Breakthroughs in Intellectual Property Development
